Provisional Psychologist

Larissa provides individuals with space to talk about what matters to you and applies curiosity, empathy, patience, optimism and understanding to support clients to achieve everyday mental and emotional wellbeing. Larissa has experience working with individuals across the lifespan from 2 years and up. She has experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, anger concerns, grief and loss, ADHD, ASD, traumatic brain injury, intellectual impairment and psychosocial disabilities.

Larissa is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi), an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and holds provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA). Larissa completed a Bachelor of Science (Psychology and Counselling) and Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science at Bond University and is currently completing her internship as a provisional psychologist.

Larissa provides specialist behaviour support to identify techniques and strategies that support positive behaviour, anger management, emotional regulation, stress management, and better social skills. She utilises evidence-based therapies and framework, including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Positive Psychology.
