Clinical Psychologist Registrar
I am a Registered Psychologist who has completed a Master of Clinical Psychology and am currently working towards endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist through the Clinical Psychology Registrar Program. Prior to training in psychology, I served in the Australian Defence Force, where I developed a deep understanding of resilience, teamwork, leadership, and the challenges people can face both during and after service. This background has shaped my grounded, practical, and compassionate approach to therapy.
I place significant importance on building strong therapeutic relationships and creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I believe meaningful
change occurs when people feel genuinely supported whilst developing greater insight into themselves and their experiences.
I work with individuals across the lifespan, supporting a wide range of presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, adjustment difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, and relationship concerns. My approach is evidence-based and tailored to the unique needs of each client. Whilst Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) forms a strong foundation of my practice, I also draw upon principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and other contemporary therapeutic approaches where appropriate.
I am particularly passionate about helping people build resilience, develop self-awareness, and create lasting positive change in their lives. My goal is to empower clients to better understand themselves, overcome barriers to wellbeing, and move towards a life that is meaningful, balanced, and aligned with their values.
Drawing on both my professional training and lived experience within the Defence community, I have a particular interest in supporting veterans, first responders, and individuals navigating significant life transitions. I am committed to providing a collaborative and practical therapeutic experience that helps clients build confidence, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals.
